Ice Chunks

We are supposed to be on our way to Pennsylvania tonight but here we sit patiently waiting for the car to be fixed.

Why?

You may ask... I'll get there...

I remember telling my sister before we left. She was all concerned that we would know how to get down there. I told her, "I learned a verse along time ago that goes like this " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto thine own understanding." And so I'm going to trust the GPS and the Good Lord to get us all the way to Pennsylvania and back, and wherever we end up is exactly where we are supposed to be."

Well without me saying more, we hit an ice chunk that came rolling off a oncoming truck and 5th wheel trailer and damaged the front end of the car to the point we severely damaged the radiator and are in need of a new one.

Well if that isn't a way to blow a hole in your already late start for the States I don't know what is. So here we sit. On a note of confidence, God's timing is perfect and sometimes it takes a magor ice chunk to stop us and make us refocus or make us sit and wait for something better.

I don't know what God stopped us from seeing or have happen to us tonight and we may never know, but right now sitting in the middle of the waiting room at the garage is exactly where we are to be!

We like to question God's timing we do it by trying to do all kinds of things... We could make a list but to everyone it would be different. Maybe it's not God who is placing the ice chunks in your path but rather you are standing on the side of the road through them on the road to avoid having to experience a separation from sin, your family, etc!

I want you to fill in the blanks. I don't know what ice chunks God has you facing tonight just know that God's will or His plan is perfect and when you need to move on your damage to your car will be fixed and you will be back on the highway!!

I want to continue with Proverbs 3:6 "In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths."

Until next time please avoid throwing the ice chunks into your path, and allow God's timing to be completely worked out according to His plan with every ice chunk He gives you!
